Shadow: ...We need to find a school for Swift.
Sonic: Yeah, we'll need to look for one.
Shadow: Back to the newspaper... *gets up and fetches one*
Swift: *takes out one of his new toys cars and plays with it on the floor*
Shadow: *giggles at the sight upon returning, paper in hand*
Swift: Vroom, vroom… *runs it up the side of the table*
Shadow: *sits down* Ok... where is the closest school? I hope they would treat him right...
Sonic: *looks in the paper* Closest one is a few blocks away.
Shadow: I'll head over tomorrow.
...What are you playing Swift?
Swift: The car has to go find the meteorite *points to the bag that he rolled into a ball*
Shadow: *watches* I see... *smiling*
Swift: *rolls the car around on the table then back down on the floor*
Shadow: *nudges Sonic* Heh... that's cute~
Sonic: I know~ *giggles*
Swift: *takes out a toy robot and makes it attack the car*
Shadow: Oh? What happened? *looks in interest*
Swift: The robot came out of the meteorite and is gonna try to destroy the city, but the car is gonna stop it.
Shadow: *giggles* What a brave soul.
Swift: Yeah, *chuckles and makes the car drive up the robot and knock it down* you wanna play with me?
Shadow: Sure~
Swift: *smiles* You wanna be the car or robot?
Shadow: I don't really know... *sheepish laugh*
Swift: Here. *gives him the robot*
Shadow: *chuckles* What is the robot doing?
Swift: Trying to destroy the city. *points to some books he stood up*
Shadow: *makes the robot 'walk' over to the city*
Swift: *rams the car into the robot*
Shadow: *makes sound effects of a crash*
Swift: *giggles and runs the car up the robot*
Shadow: Don't run over my fingers... *giggles*

*knocking at the door*
Sonic: I'll get it *gets up and opens the door*
Swift: Sorry.
Emiko: Hello. I couldn't help overhear that you've adopted someone. My name is Emiko, Chieko's mother.
Shadow: *robot recovers*
Sonic: Nice to meet you, wanna come in?
Swift: *rams into the robot again and makes a crash sound*
Emiko: Gladly. *bows then heads inside*
Shadow: *robot crashing again, but gets up and 'runs away'*
Swift: *giggles and chases it*
Sonic: *smiles and shuts the door*
Emiko: So what are you lot up to?
Shadow: Oh, hi~ *looks up from playing*
Swift: *looks at her* The robot is trying to destroy the city but the car's stopping it.
Sonic: *sits back down*
Emiko: And who might you be? *looks curious at Swift*
Shadow: Oh... I just remembered that we're looking for a school.
Swift: I'm Swift. *looks at Shadow* School? *whines*
Shadow: Is that a problem?
Emiko: I know a school my daughter goes to. She isn't here with me; she has homework.
Swift: School's boring… *sighs and lays down*
Shadow: Is it now? *tries being quirky*
Emiko: You'll like it, I'm sure. You might even meet Chieko there~
Swift: Ya huh. It's just reading and writing and more boring stuff…
Emiko: In the early years, it's not like that. In fact... don't bother going now, it's near the end of the second term.
Swift: I'm ok with that. *smiles*
Shadow: *looks at Sonic* What's for dinner?
Sonic: Chicken with rice.
Shadow: *smirks* And who's cooking?
Emiko: I could cook?
Sonic: It's ok, you're a guest. You shouldn't.
Emiko: And I should get back. Nice meeting you Swift~
Shadow: *folds an ear* Why do I feel great mistrust with her?
Swift: Bu bye~
Sonic: I don't know.
Emiko: *leaves*
Shadow: Alright, I'll head to school tomorrow.
